Example web sites for NLIST review
As the NLIST project is funded by NASA for the specific purpose of assisting NASA in evaluating NASA education web sites, the examples used below for this exercise are from NASA related web sites. 

NASA's Classroom of the Future

This is NASA's research-based educational development institution charged with the task of creating sound, theory-based, and formatively evaluated educational support curriculum. At this site are three projects:

Space Telescope Science Institute: Amazing Space-6 online modules
http://amazing-space.stsci.edu/
The Space Telescope Science Institute is the control center for the Hubble Spaced Telescope, as well as other future NASA astronomical observatories. The Amazing Space web site consist of shockwave-based interactive student web modules. The idea behind Amazing Space is to use the attraction of astronomy to teach the NSES standards.

NASA's Learning Technologies Project
(LTP) is an Agency asset that includes a suite of Internet projects that teachers and students can use to explore NASA resources and learn about NASA missions. Through "Sharing NASA" on-line --interactive projects available from LTP's Quest server -- you have the opportunity to communicate with NASA scientists and researchers and to experience the excitement of science as it is happening.
