The roles and responsibilities of the Inquiry Working Group cover the following areas:

• Work on major project outcomes and develop consensus development for:
• Operational Definition of Science as Inquiry
• Criteria and Indicators for the operational definition of inquiry Participate in work sessions to complete NLIST outcomes via:
• Regular listserv communication
• Two working group retreats Work to produce NLIST outcomes and products that are in alignment with grant objectives
• Review critique, edit and rewrite working group products as necessary Actively engage suggestions of NLIST Advisory Board into Working Group products
• Be actively engaged in NLIST to completion
